new poem added (hand (rail) job) by DERRICK LIPINSKI

So it’s an old poem that is going to be turned into a sculpture with an ‘readymade’ angle (literally).

This and the two 25 year old paintings I had started but got way-laid when I got sick are the next things on my work list. They have been waiting long enough.

Amazing that these old ideas remain fresh in my mind and I haven’t changed my vision much of what they should look like finished.

Seperated, divorcing, love gone. Thank goodness for such a beautiful loving daughter.

Haven’t painted for weeks, more, months now.

But the move has forced me to unearth/un-box long forgotten paintings. I have plans and have created my CUTS in mean time.

Not quitting.

Ever.

Spring 04.08.19… by DERRICK LIPINSKI

Bought new wood to configure to paint on. Started ‘eather’

I have been producing work, at glacial pace, due to job, family…

New ideas all the time, just very little (ideal) time to focus on work.

Gallery space? Man oh man…

Working, always working... by DERRICK LIPINSKI

I'm a married artist with a 5 1/2 year old, have a full time job; and I'm currently experiencing difficult working conditions in my limited studio space.  Art storage is also a huge problem, son of a gun.

I have to open my studio space in order to survive, location TBA.
