Working Space:
'Backbreaker': The title comes from the fact I was working on this painting while being a Dad with a new-born baby, bent-over painting, and bent-over changing, carrying, lifting, washing; & so-on my daughter, thus my aching back.
The subject matter of the painting however is an ode to the pantheon of artists (some anyways) I admire and my desire to ascend to said pantheon.
